Reynord GQ-1X GSM modems and terminals have quad band global coverage with 2.5G connection speed. GQ-1X series offers reliable, secure and two way connectiviy with ModBus TCP or transparent RS232/485 protocols. GQ1X modems have low latency and high stability for any industrial application.

GQ-1X family can be used for routine connectivity tasks, meter reading projects, machinery or lighting controls, remote site sensor readings or data collection for preventive maintenance.

GPRS & SMS together

Device includes SMS messaging capability triggered by I/O changes or specific ModBus address values. This feature eases many condition monitoring tasks by easy alarm SMS generation without a PLC or any controller.

GQ-1X modems are bundled with a PC based configuration software (EasiNet) for on-site configuration. Users may also configure GQ-1X by server-side configuration suite software (MasterNet) which enables individual or grouped configuration for projects of any scale. MasterNet also serves as a device-server to close the gap between field devices and high level software by enabling access to GQ-1X through web services or APIs etc.

For software developers, Reynord provides various solutions as ready-to-run softwares or source codes. Developers interested in server side coding may use C# or NodeJS code samples and tutorials. In less than an hour, two way connectivity can be up and running without extensive programmign skills or experience. Developers can focus on the functionality rather than coding for connectivity.

GQ-1X has wide operating voltage range 8-48 V and designed to be immune for harsh electrical interference from industrial machinery. Device also have wide operating temperature range -20 ºC to +65 ºC  for continuous connectivity.

GQ-1X has DIN rail fixture or screw pads for on site installation. Connectors are places on the front face or bottom side for extended I/O versions to keep installation more rapid and practical.
